You are guaranteed more than a few ‘what the fuck is that'-s on your trip to Japan – from the animals, through the buildings and neon lights, and of course to the food. You can play it safe and stick to international foods you can have pretty much anywhere in the world. Or you can embrace it and challenge your palette with some truly extraordinary dishes.
